En este fin de semana he tenido el honor de participar como ponente en el curso Hot Topics in Otolaryngology – A European Perspective, celebrado en el Campus de Forlì de la Universidad de Bolonia, Italia.

Durante mi intervención abordé la correlación entre la anquiloglosia y los trastornos respiratorios del sueño (SDB), un tema que sigue siendo subestimado pero que cada vez acumula más evidencia científica.

Fue un verdadero placer compartir este espacio con colegas de toda Europa, intercambiando experiencias y abriendo nuevas líneas de reflexión sobre el manejo integral de la vía aérea. Siempre es una grata y enriquecedora experiencia estar entre los grandes de la Otorrinolaringología como Ryan Cheong, Guillermo Plaza Mayor, @Dr Giovanni Cammaroto, entre otros.

Agradezco a los organizadores por la invitación y por fomentar este tipo de encuentros tan necesarios para avanzar en nuestra especialidad. De modo especial a Andrea de Vito y al Profesor Claudio Vicini que tuvieron la gentileza de invitarme.

This weekend, I had the honor of participating as a speaker in the course "Hot Topics in Otolaryngology – A European Perspective," held at the Forlì Campus of the University of Bologna, Italy.

During my presentation, I addressed the correlation between ankyloglossia and sleep-disordered breathing (SDB), a topic that remains underestimated but is increasingly accumulating scientific evidence.

It was a true pleasure to share this space with colleagues from all over Europe, exchanging experiences and opening new lines of reflection on comprehensive airway management. It is always a pleasant and enriching experience to be among the greats of Otorhinolaryngology, such as Ryan Cheong, Guillermo Plaza Mayor, Dr. Giovanni Cammaroto, among others.

I would like to thank the organizers for the invitation and for promoting this type of meeting, which is so necessary to advance our specialty. I especially want to thank Andrea de Vito and Professor Claudio Vicini, who were kind enough to invite me.
