La polisomnografía sigue siendo el estándar de oro para el diagnóstico de la apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS), pero no se puede realizar fácilmente de manera oportuna dentro de la práctica de un cirujano craneomaxilofacial. Por lo tanto, en esta revisión sistemática y metanálisis, se tuvo como objetivo identificar indicadores radiográficos que pudieran predecir el diagnóstico de apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS).

Polysomnography remains the gold standard for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), but cannot be easily performed in a timely manner within a craniomaxillofacial surgeon's practice.
