¿Es la inteligencia artificial (IA) una herramienta útil y efectiva en la predicción y mejora de la adherencia al tratamiento de terapia con presión positiva continua en la vía aérea (CPAP) en pacientes con apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS)? Esta es la pregunta clave a la que pretende dar respuesta el estudio científico AIRGENIOUS. Este proyecto de Linde Médica consta de un ensayo clínico multicéntrico y una herramienta pionera de inteligencia artificial que, en países como Francia o Portugal, ya ha demostrado mejorar la adherencia al tratamiento de pacientes con AOS que no cumplían con la terapia.

Is artificial intelligence (AI) a useful and effective tool in predicting and improving adherence to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)? This is the key question that the AIRGENIOUS scientific study aims to answer. This Linde Médica project consists of a multicenter clinical trial and a pioneering artificial intelligence tool that, in countries such as France and Portugal, has already been shown to improve treatment adherence in patients with OSA who were noncompliant with therapy.
