I CURSO SOBRE TERAPIA MIOFUNCIONAL Y AOS – MARBELLA 2025
Los días 20 y 21 de junio tuvo lugar en Marbella el I Curso sobre Terapia Miofuncional y Apnea Obstructiva del Sueño (AOS): del diagnóstico del fenotipo hipotónico a la intervención clínica, un encuentro multidisciplinar dirigido a logopedas, otorrinos, odontólogos, pediatras y neumólogos.
Un curso que tuve el honor de codirigir junto con la Dra. Laura Rodríguez Alcalá, y que abordó la evaluación funcional del paciente con AOS, el papel de la terapia miofuncional, la relevancia del frenillo lingual, el uso de tecnologías como la DISE o la ecografía cervical, y la integración de tratamientos quirúrgicos y funcionales.

1st COURSE ON MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPY AND OSA – MARBELLA 2025
On June 20–21, we held in Marbella the 1st Course on Myofunctional Therapy and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): From the Hypotonic Phenotype to Clinical Intervention, a multidisciplinary event for speech therapists, ENT specialists, dentists, pediatricians, and pulmonologists.
I had the privilege of co-directing this course alongside Dr. Laura Rodríguez Alcalá, where we addressed functional evaluation in OSA, the role of myofunctional therapy, the impact of tongue-tie, and the use of technologies such as DISE and cervical ultrasound, all within an integrative clinical approach.
