Better understanding of the relationship between traumatic brain injury (TBI) and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)

I am sharing this review of several data sources that seeks to better understand the relationship between traumatic brain injury (TBI) and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Among the findings of this review are that daytime sleepiness, insomnia, and sleep disturbances, including OSA, are common in the TBI population. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment of OSA in the TBI population may have implications for recovery.
