Misperception of total sleep time in obstructive sleep apnea with and without insomnia symptoms

Total sleep time (TST) misperception exists in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). However, previous findings on predictors have been inconsistent and predominantly based on single-night polysomnography, which can alter patients' sleep perception. Taking advantage of advances in portable sleep staging, the following article investigates predictors of TST misperception in OSA across multiple nights in the home environment.
