Se ha notificado con frecuencia la presencia de la enfermedad por reflujo gastroesofágico (ERGE) en pacientes con AOS; sin embargo, la magnitud de esta asociación sigue siendo incierta. La investigación que comparto evalúa y cuantifica de manera sistemática la asociación entre la apnea obstructiva del sueño y la enfermedad por reflujo gastroesofágico en poblaciones adultas.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) has been frequently reported in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA); however, the magnitude of this association remains uncertain. The research I am sharing systematically evaluates and quantifies the association between obstructive sleep apnea and GERD in adult populations.
