The following study sought to characterize the adenoid and tonsil microbiome in pediatric patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) compared to healthy controls. It also hypothesizes that the composition of the tonsil and adenoid microbiome in patients with OSAS differs significantly from that of healthy controls.
