Insufficient sleep puts physical, cognitive and emotional health at risk

Insufficient sleep affects both the mind and the body. Nearly one-third of the population doesn't get the seven to nine hours of rest recommended by the U.S. Sleep Foundation. According to sleep medicine specialists, 31% of adults sleep less than the recommended amount, putting their physical, cognitive, and emotional health at risk.
