However, its impact on sleep quality is less well known. Smoking significantly disrupts nighttime sleep cycles, affecting both sleep architecture and the effectiveness of respiratory treatments such as CPAP, which is essential for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This relationship is addressed in this article.
