A pesar de ser una revisi\u00f3n narrativa sin el rigor de un metaan\u00e1lisis, aporta un valor cl\u00ednico clave: demuestra que el impacto cardiovascular, metab\u00f3lico y neurocognitivo no siempre se correlaciona con el \u00edndice de apnea-hipopnea (IAH), sino con la carga hip\u00f3xica individual de cada paciente. Desde una visi\u00f3n integradora y no invasiva, estos hallazgos destacan la urgencia de prevenir el colapso funcional de la v\u00eda a\u00e9rea superior. Aunque la principal limitaci\u00f3n actual es la falta de estandarizaci\u00f3n de biomarcadores oxidativos en ni\u00f1os para el uso cotidiano, la verdadera fortaleza del estudio radica en recordarnos que tratar el AOS pedi\u00e1trico requiere intervenciones tempranas y personalizadas.
