En la actualidad ocurre una profunda transformaci\u00f3n en el diagn\u00f3stico y seguimiento de la apnea obstructiva del sue\u00f1o (AOS), tal como refleja la reciente revisi\u00f3n de la Dra. Joyce K. Lee-Iannotti. La transici\u00f3n desde la cl\u00e1sica polisomnograf\u00eda en laboratorio hacia dispositivos port\u00e1tiles (wearables como anillos inteligentes o sensores de mu\u00f1eca) y tecnolog\u00edas sin contacto (nearables por radar o ac\u00fastica) validados por la FDA mediante Inteligencia Artificial est\u00e1 democratizando el acceso al diagn\u00f3stico. Estas herramientas no solo reducen costes y listas de espera, sino que permiten una monitorizaci\u00f3n continua en el entorno natural del paciente, facilitando la detecci\u00f3n precoz de una patolog\u00eda que sigue estando masivamente infradiagnosticada.Sin embargo, diagnosticar con mayor precisi\u00f3n y comodidad es solo el primer paso: el verdadero reto cl\u00ednico reside en ofrecer soluciones terap\u00e9uticas efectivas, sostenibles y adaptadas a la realidad de cada persona. Aunque el seguimiento remoto de la CPAP ha mejorado con la digitalizaci\u00f3n, la adherencia a largo plazo sigue siendo un desaf\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
