La somnolencia diurna excesiva (SDE), definida como la incapacidad para mantenerse despierto durante el d\u00eda, es com\u00fan entre los pacientes con AOS; sin embargo, su percepci\u00f3n puede variar en funci\u00f3n de las comorbilidades que afectan la regulaci\u00f3n auton\u00f3mica y neuroendocrina. Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), defined as the inability to stay awake during the day, is common among patients with OSA; however, its perception can vary depending on comorbidities that affect autonomic and neuroendocrine regulation.
