La coexistencia con DM2 empeora los resultados del paciente. La terapia de presi\u00f3n positiva en la v\u00eda a\u00e9rea (PAP) ha demostrado beneficios en la mejora de los par\u00e1metros metab\u00f3licos y la reducci\u00f3n de comorbilidades.&nbsp;Este estudio examin\u00f3 la asociaci\u00f3n entre AOS y DM2, centr\u00e1ndose en la adherencia terap\u00e9utica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is prevalent and often underdiagnosed, and is associated with cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), dyslipidemia, and cognitive impairment. The coexistence of T2DM worsens patient outcomes. Positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy has demonstrated benefits in improving metabolic parameters and reducing comorbidities.
