Hypertension, hyperuricemia, smoking and drinking, type 1 diabetes with suspected OSAS. Is referred for evaluation and possible ENT surgical evaluation with the Department of Pneumology&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title_address\">Treatment:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>apnea hypopnea index 99 x hours<\/li>\n<li>95% SAT o2media<\/li>\n<li>SAT less than 90% 1%<\/li>\n<li>You are informed of the different surgical options and if withdrawn the need for a CPAP. It alerts you that you will have problems in their use as septal deviation septoplasty is recommended. The patient refused any surgery initially<\/li>\n<li>control is indicated apnea CPAP pressure of 7 cm and a ramp hA20 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>After that has been raised gradually to 15 mm \/ hg for lack of clinical efficacy<\/li>\n<li>The patient after 15 months of intermittent use of CPAP not tolerated concerns as indicated by lateral pharyngoplasty and septoplasty without tamponade (12\/02\/10)<\/li>\n<li>As of 3 days postoperatively stop using the cpap.<\/li>\n<li>New control IAH 3 (12\/02\/11)<\/li>\n<li>Currently no incidents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\" style=\"padding-top: 76.2857%;\"><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gXXR1VF-6j0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" id=\"fitvid363413\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\" style=\"padding-top: 76.2857%;\"><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-To3NAoF_OU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" id=\"fitvid876491\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusiones:<\/h3>\n<p>La realizaci\u00f3n la cirug\u00eda de la septoplastia sin taponamiento combinada con la tecnica de la faringoplastia lateral supone una curaci\u00f3n definitiva de la apnea en pacientes seleccionados.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>09\/12\/2009, Paciente var\u00f3n 43 a\u00f1os.
