Effect of ambient temperature on the severity of OSA

High ambient temperatures are associated with reduced sleep duration and quality, but their effects on obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) severity are unknown. This study quantified the effect of 24-hour ambient temperature on nocturnal OSA severity in 116,620 users of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared self-contained breathing device over 3.5 years.
