A recent study in Latin America revealed that 45% of the population is at moderate to high risk of developing OSA. However, more than 80% of cases remain undiagnosed. Lack of awareness about this condition prevents preventive measures from being taken and prevents patients from receiving appropriate treatment in a timely manner.
