According to a new research analysis, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy for obstructive sleep apnea is more effective at improving neurocognition in people with a high arousal threshold. The study, published in the European Respiratory Journal, suggests that CPAP, currently used as a sole treatment, may not be beneficial for all people with obstructive sleep apnea.
